Water

You do not pay the Water Company for the water services provided for your apartment. The Water Company makes a direct charge to McCarthy Stone. You are charged for the water supplied to your apartment and for the waste water removed from your apartment via the regular service charge. 

There is no cold-water storage tank in your apartment. The water comes directly from the mains to your taps (cold or hot) and is potable. 

The water that comes out of the hot water taps, when fully flowing, is 55°C which is too hot to handle in your hands. This is the temperature that has been decided by the Government for health and safety reasons to protect you from water related illnesses like Legionnaires Disease.
