Room Thermostats
Room thermostats are located in the rooms they control except for the shower room which is located outside the shower room in the entrance hallway.
The room thermostat in each room allows you to control the temperature within that room.
To set the temperature simply turn the temperature dial to the required temperature. Turning a room thermostat to a higher setting will not make the room heat up any faster.
For the heating to work the button to the left of the temperature dial must be pressed in. When it is time for the heating come on and the room temperature is below that set by the thermostat, a red light to the left of the temperature dial will appear. This indicates that the underfloor heating of that room has been activated. As soon as the required temperature of that room has been reached that light will turn to green and the heating switched off. This light will stay green until the temperature goes below the setting, at this point the heating will come back on and the light will turn red. As soon as the OFF setting of the Time switch has been reached, the heating will switch off and no light will appear on the thermostat. It takes about ¾ of an hour to heat the carpeted areas.
Two-bar Heater
Some apartments have, in their lounge, a standalone two-bar with glow heater attached to a mock fireplace.
