Each apartment has a smoke detector and fire alarm fitted to the ceiling of the entrance hall in each apartment. When excessive smoke or fire is detected anywhere in the building the alarm will get triggered. All fire doors in the building will close shut to restrict the movement of the smoke and fire. 

Homeowners have been instructed to stay in their apartments and wait for instructions from the management team. If they have been instructed to leave the building, the lifts should not be used other than by immobile individuals. 

Once a week the fire alarms are tested. On other occasions a fire drill is performed with staff and those individuals who are not in their apartments congregating in the allocated assembly area of the car park.
