A Manual Boost can be selected at any time during the peak period which can last for periods of 30, 60 or 120 minutes. 

To do this press the BOOST button.

The button surround will illuminate and 30 will display in the top right of the display. 

Press the boost button again and it will change to 60.

Press it again and it will change to 120.

The selected boost period will start immediately and the clock will count down to zero and the boost period will stop. 

The boost period can also be cancelled by repeatedly pressing the boost button until no boost time is displayed. 

Press the boost button and no time is displayed and the boost has stopped.

Should an economy period start within the duration boost, this will override the boost period using cheaper off-peak electricity. 

During an off-peak period, the manual boost cannot be activated.
