For the heating to operate at the correct times, the correct date and time has to be set. To do this press and hold PROG for 5 seconds to display the year. This will display the year. Press the + or – buttons to set the correct year.

Press Day to display the month DD:MM. The two numbers to the right of the colon will flash. This is the month of the year (Jan = 1, Feb = 2 etc.). Use the + or – buttons to set the correct month.

Press Day again to display the day DD:MM. The two numbers to the left of the colon will flash. This is the day of the month. Use the + or – buttons to set the correct day of the month. The day of the week is set automatically. 

Press PROG to display the time HH:MM. The words SET TIME will appear at the top of the display and the time will flash on and off. Use the + or – buttons to set the correct time. (If you press and hold either button it will increase or decrease in 10-minute increments).

If you are happy with the date and time you have set, press PROG and the time will display with the colon flashing. The unit is now in RUN mode and will control your heating according to your pre-set times. 

You may have to perform this action after a power failure or when the clocks change.
