For the programmer to operate at the correct times, the correct date and time has to be set. 

Also, if you have a power failure in your apartment then the date and time will have to be reset. 

To do this press the SET button once. A digital clock will show on the top of the screen, along with the hour flashing. 

Use the + and – buttons to set the required hour. 

Once the hour is set, press the SELECT button to change to minutes. Use the + and – buttons to set the required minute. 

Once the minute is set, press the SELECT button to change to year. Use the + and – buttons to set the required year. 

Once the year is set, press the SELECT button to change to months. Use the + and – buttons to set the required month. 

Once the month is set, press the SELECT button to change to days. Use the + and – buttons to set the required day. 

Once the day is set, press the SELECT button to return to operating mode. 

The display will now show the current time of the day together with winter or summer according to the time of year. 

You may have to perform this action after a power failure or when the clocks change.
